From Foam to Fit: Inside the Pad
Some days in this journey feel loud — meetings, samples, decisions. And some feel quiet. Like today.
I was sorting through old prototypes when I found the first stack of bra pads we ever tested.
Different curves, different thicknesses… all the little experiments that once filled our whole table — and our whole brain space.
It made me smile.
Back then, I didn’t realise how much this tiny piece of foam could change everything. How a curve that’s just a few millimetres off could make someone feel supported — or not.
How a pad that shifts in the wash could ruin an entire design.
How finding the “just right” balance could take dozens of tries.
It wasn’t glamorous work. But it was honest work.
The kind of work that makes you slow down, pay attention, and learn to care about the invisible details.
Because that’s what a bra really is — a whole collection of invisible decisions.
And the pad?
It was our first reminder that comfort starts quietly, from the inside, long before anyone sees the final piece.
Somehow, that still feels true.
